La Vall

In the heart of Natural Parc of Els Ports.
As we enter in La Vall ravine, we leave behind cultivated olive fields to make way for rosemary, kermes oak and palm hearts, the only native palm tree in Europe. Little by little the ravine narrows, imposing rock walls appear, and the landscape is covered with pine and oak forests.

Racó d'en Marc

Circular route that, although it seems simple, stands out for its great geological value and takes us deep into the landscape of Els Ports. We will walk among rocks of cylindrical shapes and rounded by the wind and rain that have been sculpting them over time.
We enter the Racó dels Capellans and arrive at the Cova d'en Marc and at the end, we will enjoy one of the highlights of the tour: the Forat de la Vella, which is nothing more than a naturally sculpted hole in the rock wall. You will not get tired of taking photos.

Mas de Barró

Mas de Barró

From the leisure area of the Vall we will climb following the ravine, well delimited by vertical rock walls. The trail crosses the Faixes Tancades, a harmonious combination of rock and vegetation. The presence of beech and maple stand out. We arrive at Mas de Barró, where we will have splendid views of the Vall ravine delimited by the walls of les Faixes on one side and those of l’Airosa on the other. At our next stop, the name will make fly our imagination, Font del Paradis (the fountain of paradise). We start the descent to the starting point on the other side of the ravine. Upon arrival we will see the rock formation Racó dels Capellans.

l'Airosa

From La Vall ravine, we climb towards the top of l'Airosa, which as its name indicates, appears to us in a slim and elegant way. It requires effort and we will have a climbing section to get there. Once up we will enjoy the environment that surrounds us, with the Vall ravine on one side and Lloret ravine on the other. We continue to ride towards our objective, Castell de l’Airosa.
It is called Castell de l’Airosa because of its particular silhouette which, depending on where you look at it, will look like a medieval castle. And finally, a pleasant descent near the canal d'en Marc, with some rock formations that will make our imaginations fly and lead us to Riacó d'en Marc.
